What Nintendo Just Announced for Switch & Switch 2

Nintendo kicked off March 2026 with a short but packed 15-minute Nintendo Indie World Showcase livestream on March 3 a quick but meaningful look at the indie games headed to Nintendo’s hardware this year. It served as a snapshot of the company’s third-party and indie ecosystem, emphasising variety, creativity, and support for developers outside Nintendo’s first-party lineup.

Unlike full Nintendo Direct broadcasts that focus on major franchises, this showcase was all about smaller studios and fresh ideas and it delivered more than a few surprises.
